XPark Games wins GoodTech Ventures grant funding
We’re thrilled to share that XPark Games has been selected as one of the winners of grant funding at the GoodTech Ventures Cohort 4 Pitch Showcase.
It’s a milestone moment for our team and a powerful endorsement of our mission to transform careers education through gamified virtual work experience. Being recognised by GoodTech Ventures: a programme dedicated to backing impact-driven founders, confirms what we hear every day from schools, careers leaders, and employer partners: there is real demand for scalable, engaging EdTech tools that bring STEM careers to life for every young person.
The grant will help us accelerate the next phase of XPark Games. That includes expanding our library of gamified career experiences, deepening the data and insights we provide to careers leaders, and continuing to develop the AI-driven recommendation engine that helps students find career pathways that genuinely fit who they are. It will also support our work with more schools across the UK, making it easier for careers programmes to deliver against the Gatsby Benchmarks and give every student a meaningful encounter with the world of digital work.
A huge congratulations to the entire Cohort 4 for delivering such strong, confident pitches. The quality across the board was extraordinary, and the breadth of impact — from justice to health to education: was inspiring to witness. Particular congratulations to our fellow winners Claudia Radu and Gaurav Sood (Circe) and Gen Glaister (The Hive – Justice). It’s a privilege to have XPark Games recognised alongside such purpose-led ventures.
We’re deeply grateful to the GoodTech Ventures team, especially David Hinton, Emma Williams, and Caelie Hawkins, and to the wider cohort for the support, challenge, and sense of community throughout the programme. Accelerators like this are part of the reason early-stage edtech companies are able to turn ambitious ideas into tools that genuinely change outcomes for young people.
Onwards and upwards. If you’re a school, careers leader, or employer partner who wants to bring gamified virtual work experience into your careers programme, we’d love to hear from you.
