November 2025 pilot: complete!

We had a fantastic time working through our pilot in November.

XPark Games is an edtech platform built around a simple idea: career exploration should feel as engaging as the best mobile games students already play. Our gamified virtual work experience lets young people step into roles in cybersecurity, AI, software development, and the wider digital economy: then make real decisions, solve real challenges, and discover whether those STEM careers are right for them.

The pilot included:

  • Gamified, hands-on learning that secondary students can complete in classroom sessions or as part of an enrichment block.

  • A curriculum-friendly structure designed to inspire the next generation of digital talent and to slot neatly into your existing careers programme and Gatsby Benchmarks delivery.

  • Impact measured through built-in feedback and engagement analytics, so careers leaders can evidence outcomes to senior leadership.

  • A complimentary enrichment session for schools who registered early, delivered by the XPark Games team.

Why it matters

UK students consistently tell us they want to understand what digital careers actually look like before they commit to GCSE, A-level, or post-16 choices. At the same time, careers leaders are being asked to deliver more meaningful encounters with employers and the workplace, often with limited time and budget. Gamified virtual work experience is a scalable answer to both: giving students an authentic taste of real STEM careers, and giving schools an engaging, easy-to-deliver tool that maps directly to careers education priorities.

Who this was for:

The pilot was open to secondary schools across the UK. Whether you’re focused on supporting students into computer science pathways, broadening participation in STEM, or simply offering richer, more inclusive careers education, we’d love to talk.

This brilliant promo video was created by Sophie Ahlawat, a student at the University of Surrey.
