XPark Games wins Surrey Foundership for 2025

We’re incredibly proud to share that XPark Games has been awarded a Foundership by the University of Surrey through the Surrey Enterprise Hub.

For an early-stage EdTech business, this recognition is more than just a certificate — it’s a vote of confidence in what we’re building at XPark Games: a mission-driven company creating gamified virtual work experience that brings digital careers and STEM careers to life for young people across the UK.

As a Founder in the programme, we’ll be working alongside a brilliant cohort of fellow entrepreneurs to further develop our venture over the coming months. The Foundership provides funding, tailored workshops, and 1:1 mentoring, a powerful combination of strategic support and practical guidance from people who deeply understand what it takes to build, scale, and sustain a purpose-led business.

For XPark Games, this support comes at an important moment. We’re growing fast: scaling our pilots with schools, deepening our partnerships with employer partners, and continuing to develop our AI-driven career recommendation engine. The Foundership will help us make better decisions, faster, while staying anchored to our long-term mission of giving every young person access to engaging, future-focused careers education.

University-backed enterprise programmes are some of the most important infrastructure we have for building the next generation of UK tech and STEM-led businesses. They give founders structured time, expert challenge, and a community of peers tackling related problems — and they give graduates and students close-up access to real entrepreneurial career pathways alongside their studies. Programmes like Surrey Enterprise Hub model exactly the kind of university–industry partnership that we believe is essential to closing the digital skills gap.

A heartfelt thank you to Jenny Ritchie, Kate Bray, Daniel Marshall and Vincenzo Roberti for their unwavering support and commitment to student and graduate innovation. And huge congratulations to all the other recipients of Founderships 2025:  it’s a privilege to be in such inspiring company. We look forward to learning, sharing, and growing alongside you over the months ahead.

Let’s build things that matter. If you’re a school, careers leader, employer partner, or fellow founder who wants to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you.
